Deadline extended for Looking Glass Theatre's Space Grant Program

Looking Glass Theatre (LGT) is seeking proposals from theatre companies for their Performance Space Grant. Applicants should submit a production that reflects the LGT mission of "reflecting life on the stage with truth and theatricality while exploring a female vision."

Requirements: Playwright or director must be female. Cast must be half or more female (for classics, gender-bending casts are accepted to meet this requirement). Female subject matter not required.

Grantee(s) will receive: performance space between May 18-31, 2009, including one technical rehearsal; marketing and publicity to LGT's email press and audience lists; and a listing or link on the LGT website. Deadline: Monday, March 16 at 6 PM.
